M.D. (Melit.), M.R.C.S. (Edin.), F.R.C.R. (UK), EDiR, EBDiHNR Dr Edith Vassallo is a specialist radiologist with extensive experience in diagnostic imaging. She works within the Medical Imaging Department at Mater Dei Hospital and is also a Visiting Lecturer in Clinical Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Malta. Her teaching includes neuroradiology and imaging of the head and neck. (L-Università ta’ Malta) She holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists and European qualifications in radiology and head and neck radiology. Dr Vassallo is also actively involved in medical education and research, with published work addressing thyroid, head and neck and other areas of diagnostic imaging. Her recent academic work includes European practice recommendations for thyroid imaging.
