Dr Maria Bonnici MD (Melit) BSc (Hons) MSc (UK) MRCP (UK) MRCP (Geriatrics) is a geriatrician with a special interest in osteoporosis and falls management. At the Professsional Services Centre, Dr Maria Bonnici offers consultations to elderly persons which include comprehensive geriatric assessments, cognitive assessments as well as osteoporosis, management of falls and osteoporosis. |

Dr Bonnici has Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Sciences with Ageing (Newcastle, UK) where she passed with distinction and ranked first in her dissertation. She obtained the Specialty Certificate in Geriatric Medicine (UK) in 2019 and entered the specialty register in 2023.
In her last year of training in the UK, she pursued a senior clinical fellowship in orthogeriatric care and fragility fracture prevention medicine (osteoporosis) at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (United Kingdom).
She currently holds the position of Secretary at the Geriatric Medicine Society of Malta and is an active member of the European Geriatric Medicine Society.
