What is an Exercise Prescription?

It is an easy to follow exercise plan intended to improve the overall health. The prescription is individualised, taking into account the person€™s age and health. Therefore the exercise frequency, intensity and duration will vary according to the patient's needs.


How it works


What will happen


The medical professional refers you for a consultation.


A screening form is filled in and different body measurements are recorded. A one week exercise plan is formulated, explained and given to you.

First follow up

You will be given a one or two week exercise plan, depending on your needs.

Second follow up

You will be reassessed and given a one or two week exercise plan, depending on your needs.

Additional follow ups

These can take place every one or two weeks. Reassessment will be held every four weeks. 


N.B. No equipment needs to be bought!
