Carbohydrate counting is a meal planning tool for people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Carbohydrate counting involves keeping track of the amount of carbohydrate in the foods you eat each day. Carbohydratesare one of the main nutrients found in food and drinks. Carbohydrates include sugars, starches, and fiber.

At Professional Services, the Family practice is covered by two Family Doctors - Dr Wilfred Galea and Dr Corinne Markham. Appointment is needed during the week in the morning but no appointment is needed in the afternoon and on Saturday morning.

Professional Services Centre is a patient-centric clinic.  Dr Antonella Grima is a Nutrition Consultant available on Friday (every 3 weeks)  and a Personal Trainer and Mr Brian Zammit is a Personal Trainer available every forthnight on Saturday morning.
